About us

Planet Cycles shop is located in Mount Eden, Auckland, at 216 Dominion road, in the Valley Road Shops. It is a full retail and workshop facility staffed by real riders crazy about their sport.

Monday Night bunch rides leave from Planet Cycles Mount Eden every Monday evening, weather permitting at 6.00pm. This usually involves a spin down to the waterfront, along to St Heliers, back around the tank farm, a cruise through Ponsonby then back for a beer at 'the Dominion'. The ride is led by one of our staff or experienced riders and is aimed at riders of all levels.

When not on our road bikes you will spot us on our Mountain Bikes riding Woodhill forest or the Rotorua Redwoods. We offer advice and help on picking up the skills, where to ride and training programs for both road and mountain bike riding.

Next time you purchase a bike from us we will invite you to join our VIP scheme that offers you a 10% off all parts and accessories purchases. Planet Cycles has a fully equipped workshop and performs services and repairs on all bikes. This includes both Race and Tour preparation and wheel building. Your bike needs servicing at least twice a year to get the best out of it so bring it in for a free safety check.
